Acacia is a beautiful 10-month-old Leopard Tortoise that’s been captive bred and thoughtfully raised under carefully managed husbandry conditions. With excellent shell development, a dependable appetite, and steady juvenile growth, Acacia has developed into a healthy tortoise that’s ready to begin the next chapter with a responsible keeper.

As is typical for Leopard Tortoises at this stage of development, the sex has not yet been determined, as reliable gender identification generally isn’t possible until the tortoise reaches greater maturity.

Acacia has been raised on a carefully balanced, high-fiber grazing diet consisting primarily of orchard grass, timothy hay, dandelion greens, broadleaf weeds, hibiscus leaves, mulberry leaves, prickly pear cactus pads, and other suitable vegetation. Routine calcium supplementation and access to quality UVB lighting have supported healthy bone growth and proper shell formation.

During daylight hours, Acacia spends much of the day grazing, exploring the enclosure, basking beneath the heat source, and moving confidently between warmer and cooler areas. This natural daily activity has encouraged healthy muscle development, excellent body condition, and smooth shell growth with well-defined scutes.
